Perhaps not entirely on point, but I’m deeply saddened (remember a guy named Daschle who made that locution a mantra?) to learn that Marielle Hemingway - actress and granddaughter of Earnest Hemingway - is involved in this, because she was so easy on the eyes when she was younger, and she doesn’t look so bad now.

I was at an event on Sunday and watched a girl with a T-shirt that said “Tree Hugger” walk right past an empty paper cup and aluminum can laying on the ground. My wife picked them up and threw them in the trash.
