Former Gov. Charlie Crist was apparently a little closer to Scott Rothstein than we knew.

Or maybe not. They blew out the candles on Crist's birthday cake a couple of years ago after giving the governor $52,000 (a grand for each candle).

Before the disbarred Rothstein's Ponzi scheme imploded, Rothstein and the governor were in regular contact.

You know, the media regularly reported Crist's ties to this convicted Ponzi schemer when Crist wasn't the presumed DEMOCRAT NOMINEE for governor....

Now, the south Florida media SAYS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Crist the crook and his ties to the Ponzi schemer.

Charlie Crist is the picture of “sleaze artist”, carving out a cozy world in which he may exist like an alligator beneath a mud bank in the Everglades. He emerges from that hole to seek out new prey and further assure himself of more of the life he craves. If the waters happen to be a political party, he brings no particular means of making that pool a better place to be, either in terms of sanitation or of personal safety for those who venture into that pool.

After one of the pools is sullied by his presence, made toxic even to himself, he moves onto another pool, perhaps only to pollute it as well. If it were not already seriously degraded, in which case he can do no harm beyond that already rendered to the environment.

I do not much like Charlie Crist.
