He gave a closing speech, intended to be inspirational and not comical Which is fortunate, because Jon Stewart is NOT FUNNY. No matter what you think of his politics. He isn't amusing.
For the record, about 80 percent of everyone doing "comedy" now isn't funny. Such is the world we live in.
