A pipeline to transport gas to Ukraine via Slovakia should be ready for pumping at full capacity starting in September, the head of Slovakia's pipeline operator said.
EU member Slovakia, and Ukraine, signed a deal at the end of April that allows the European Union to send a limited amount of gas to Ukraine - but less than Kyiv had hoped for, in order to cushion the blow, should Russia turn off the gas [read more].
Go Slovakia!
Poland is ramping up their fracking capabilities as well.
Good, that way the Communists (Putin and China) can leave everyone else alone.
I’ve seen that too. That’s another nation that knows the pain of being under the boot of Russian thugs. Putin wants to bring back all that type of racist, military tyranny.

They deserve a break. It takes guts, too, to stand up to Putin; he cracks skulls and is admired by some for embodying the gangster statesman image. Good for the Slovaks for standing with Ukraine.
Slovakia doesn’t produce natural gas does it?
Whatever they’re sending to Ukraine is being purchased elsewhere.
Correct. Slovakia imports more than 30 times what they produce themselves. They don’t come close to meeting their own demand.

No, the pipelines come from Ukraine. Slovnaft is the national oil refinery, but the country also has natural gas that it will now send to Ukraine via the pipelines.

Yep, previously purchased by Germany from Russia.
Lol...the Russians finally found a way to get paid for gas delivered to Ukraine.
You feel sorry for Putin. You’re not a mac_truck. You’re a Pinto.
