Last paragraph of the article:

“The lack of confidence in government is a natural response to events like the VA scandal, but it is compounded by a presidential response that makes it clear that Obama doesn’t pay much attention to the issues he raised in his own campaigns and that he is slow to act even after learning about such disasters on television. This scandal makes it clear, if it hadn’t already been so, that the Obama administration has run out of steam, ideas, or even a willingness to pretend that it cares about public opinion. It’s going to be a long slog until January 2017.”

Obama is a reader of campaign speeches. He doesn't write them, he doesn't understand them, he doesn't care about them.

It is just something you recite to get elected to the most powerful position on earth. And that is his only interest.

people say the TEa Party is dead, but there are people beginning to talk about “crony” government and bad government in ways that never got done before. It is time to undue government unions and rewrite civil service rules. The fact that millions of IRS refunds go to one address, or that people in every branch are found wasting time - watching porn on gov computers... when do we clean house of bad working the includes no way to fire bad workers?
