Did a quick check:

Smith and Schiff have law degrees and each was a prosecutor for a year or so.

Sanchez has a law degree and specialized in labor law.

Duckworth’s father was a Marine and she joined the Army, became a helicopter pilot, lost a leg in the Iraq war.

So Cummings is the only one not having some tie. Makes me wonder even more if Nan was using this to get him off the IRS committee. Hmmmm?

They’re taking it seriously. Duckworth is in a super safe Dem district. She can go nuts on the panel and still get reelected.
