David Scott is a very liberal representative from a heavily Black district in South Metro Atlanta. I’m no fan of his politics — which is to grab all the federal money he can drag home to his district — but he seems like a decent man in person. Scott is a smart guy with Wharton MBA, and he is also Hank Aaron’s brother-in-law (married to Alfredia Aaron Scott).

I -am- a disabled milvet. I am, supposedly, under care for various things.
However, with all the news of late, and knowing that the V.A. Medical Center in Alexandria, LA, by actions of a clinic in Lafayette, did have, and was subsequently, sued for a wrongful death of a veteran on it’s premises, do look towards my upcoming scheduled visit, with trepidation, and concern.
I had major surgery performed in 2012, in the VAMC Houston. At that time, the doctors kept telling me that I would released early, due to the possibility that if I had stayed any longer, I might somehow become infected with some disease floating about.
Also, don’t be surprised by anything John Barrow (D, GA-12) says to get reelected. Barrow is the last remaining white Democrat in the Georgia delegation, and his South Georgia district includes both Robins AFB and Moody AFB. If Barrow loses the last of his veteran support, he will be toast.
