Where?
Thailand political unrest ping.
Seems to me some Freepers call Thailand Home, with others considering it. Be safe.
Doesn’t this happen every few years?
Anoreth (my daughter) has visited Thailand, but doesn’t live there.
It is a pattern in Thailand but the struggle in the last few years between the two main parties in the courts, the election campaigns and on the streets has been exceptionally intense for Thailand.
Some people have died in gun or bomb attacks at protest sites in Bangkok in the past year.
Should I ask? Thailand?!
“Where?”
Delaware.
And often . .
I point my toes at you!
I sure hope this doesn’t negatively affect the sex tourist trade.
One night in Bangkok?
THAILAND!?
It is a beautiful place to visit. Costs thousands to get there. Costs dozens to stay per month lol....
Anoreth was on a Coast Guard cutter, so she was paid to get there. This was during a previous violent political disruption a few years ago.
Amazing how silent the Obama Administration is on this. With the Honduras “Coup” action was swift. Then again in Honduras people were fighting for democracy and Chavista interference while in Thailand the elitist/royalist are taking power.
I just finished up a one year holiday in Thailand. For the most part all the political unrest has very little to no affect on the average guy in the street. And if you are away from the protest areas in Bangkok it is invisible there is even a problem.
I have no problem returning today for another year. It is a great land to reside......
The only noticeable part so far are soldiers in the streets and all television signals taken over by the military. Playing 1930 traditional music and other propaganda.
Expect a sharp uptick in births around next January.
And here I was going to buy a new hard drive, well guess I better wait for things to settle down....
