Google Images has a whole bunch of pics of the Che Cafe. It’s an old barn immersed in graffiti, a hangout for young people immersed in nihilism.

Funny how we have elevated the value of meaninglessness.

There were filthy hippies that tried that here when hope and change was in the air. They got a restaurant space in the most expensive part of town and opened the doors. The gimmik was that ypu can get what you want and pay what you think is fair or could volunteer to work there for the food. No set prices. The guilt ridden wealthy gave huge amounts to show how much better this system is but the place soon became over run by che tshirt wearing trash who paid nothing. It didn’t last long and quietly vanished one night a bankrupt failure.

“Robert Irvine, please pick up the white courtesy phone, paging Mr. Robert Irvine...”

That episode would be pure television GOLD!
