I guess you’re not Catholic?
Yes, not very tolerant, inclusive or PC of him. So I agree with his statement.
I guess I am not as well.
:)
Why would being allowed to marry ‘rout out the queers’?
It did not help the Episcopalians, did it. Gene Robinson left his wife and married his gay lover - now he is divorcing his male/husband.
Plenty of gays in the teaching profession and what about the Penn State homosexual deviate who was with the Penn State football faculty - Jerry Sandusky!
Because all the cases of sexual abuse among priests came to a head seemingly all at once, the very enormity of it all gave folks the idea that all priests are prone to being deviates. In fact, the percentage of priests who were involved in these cases is quite small.
“That would certainly rout out the queers, now wouldn’t it.”
Yeah, nary a poofter amongst the Anglican clergy these days.

How long before the left demands that the Pope resign?
It is better for a child to live in relative poverty - sharing a room with several siblings, like at my house - in a normal family, than to have every economic advantage but lack a married mother and father.

Exactly.
BTW, I come from a family of 11. We kids shared rooms, and we did not live in poverty. And when I was growing up, we had one bathroom until we moved when I was 12, and I am just one under the middle child.
Great times. Sharing a room with my next youngest sister gave us lots of quality time together.
Big families are great and teach kids how to get along in society.
Just ask any liberal pro-abort, pro ‘gay marriage,’ priestess wanting Catholic if they would like to keep the discipline of celibacy around. Or just ask a lib of ANY faith about the Latin rite discipline of celibacy. I mean come on, they absolutely hate it.

Or who some others fear that he is.
With all due respect, it seems to have been less than universally effective at that for Protestants. And I say that having been one up until last month.
... Pope Francis is on solid Biblical footing ...And incidentally also on solid natural footing.
Within living memory, knowing degeneracy when you see it wasn't a peculiarly religious position.
My first thought.....this is news? This needs to be said? We have come a long way, down.
It did not help the Episcopalians, did it. Gene Robinson left his wife and married his gay lover - now he is divorcing his male/husband.
Well, he's "routed out" ain't he?
Yeah, but are they married, respectable husbands and fathers?...Or run of the mill packers?
I'm bettin' they're not in disguise, but rather typical unrepentant perverts just tying to drag down the church.
Well once the clergy's wives figure it out, they probably aren't able to keep it a secret for long. My point was the boy-raping "priests" were able to hide their queerness under the cloak of celibacy...none of them are married.
I think we can figure out pretty quickly who the Protestant fake clergy are. The problem is the wish-washy sects that allows them to continue serving in the church....especially with boys around.
“Yeah, but are they married, respectable husbands and fathers?...Or run of the mill packers?”
The men who are supposed to keep the gays out because of their matrimonial state or the gays who are supposed to be kept out because clergy can marry?
“I’m bettin’ they’re not in disguise, but rather typical unrepentant perverts just tying to drag down the church.”
You would win that bet. Of course they are not in disguise, they are celebrated and promoted. So they don’t have to be disguised. Yet it is possible for male Anglican clergy to marry women, which isn’t seeming to put a damper on things.
Do you find it strange that every liberal of every faith invariably wants the Catholic Church to stop the discipline of celibacy? I do. You would think there would be a few out there that are all for it somehow.

So, St. Paul was a hypocrite. The Pope is in favor of priests, bishops, monks, and nuns each having a mother and a father. Where is the hypocrisy?
That's why I said "relative poverty."
