Now that Tony Abbott's government has slashed government spending on climate change-related programs, the climate hysteria is ramping up in some quarters. At The Guardian, Alex White writes that "Australia's extreme budget meets extreme climate." Well, Australia naturally has an extreme climate, but the question is whether anthropogenic climate change is making it more extreme.
In the Huffington Post, Reese Halter states the following about climate change in Australia while discussing threats to global bee populations:

There’s hysteria here too. Checking NBC Nightly News of late, the emphasis on weather related events, while the country is going to pot, literally and figuratively, is scary.
When did we start looking in the insane asylums to find “leaders”?!?!
Australia is a very large place. Most people live along the coast with the middle almost empty of people (the environment is too harsh for most).
Perhaps climate change could result in Australia getting more rain turning deserts into more human friendly environment. That would be a good thing.
Truth is, I doubt anyone in Australia would notice the earth getting warmer due to “global warming” Why destroy your economy and sacrifice your freedoms in the name of a proven hoax?

I think it just gives meaning to their hollow materialistic existences, without any real exposure to being harmed themselves.
But when it comes to naming and confronting REAL EVIL, such as Islamists, Communists, Evil Dictators, Domestic Gangs, Illegal Imigration and Drug and Human Traffickers...Liberals are no where to be found.
It is time that we fought Libs/Dems with the same attitude that they fight US. They are totally convinced and committed to the principle that Traditional, Religious, Liberty Conscious, Small Government Americans are the #1 EVIL that threatens everything from the Planet to their Right To Vote.
They want nothing less than our Physical, Spiritual, Political and Financial Death.
The only thing I deny, is that any climate change is the result of the action of humans (with the exception of some micro climates surrounding large cities).
The climate may very well be changing. I don’t consider changes that occur slowly over hundreds (if not thousands) of years to be an emergency requiring we lower our standard of living to third world levels. (Especially when the elite or still living like kings)
