I find it funny that someone who uses the (to the average Joe Sixpack, at least) obscure metaphor of "breaking a butterfly upon a wheel" would accuse someone else of being a pseudo-intellect. Hey Flynn, you could've said "crush a mosquito with a sledgehammer", and you wouldn't have sounded like some geek trying to impress us with his knowledge of ancient torture methods and arcane literary references.
