Of course he (Obama) should resign! Unfortunately, he has not the simple dignity to do so. Rather than fall on his sword, he's the kind of guy, like the officers on that Korean ferry, who pushed their way past their passengers, to whom they owed a duty to rescue, but chose instead to take the prime seats in the lifeboats.
