Because bhudda and moh are just men. And dead ones at that. Why insult dust when you can poke your puny finger in the eye of the living creator of the universe?

You wouldn’t want to offend Islamist if you said Mohammad...they might get angry. Angry Islamists are not pretty, they might want to bomb you or cut off your hands or kill you for insulting their ‘leader’. Of course, Mohammad is a pedophile... :-)

Seriously, because among most Westerners, there would be nothing shocking or appalling about maligning Buddha or Mohammed. And the whole point of Kraftausdrücke is to shock and appall.
