Stay out of the smoke. It has been too wet there this year for fire worries yet. It was kinda neat watching 4 or 5 bombers follow a twin engine spotter plane playing follow the leader.

Lots of people continue the military training in civilian life.

Good evening, mountainlion, and a Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours.

How interesting it must have been to watch the bombers, all in a row, following a little plane.

Our fire crews are often in the lower 48, but so far this year they are being kept busy here. Every year there are LOTS of lightning fires, and many are left to burn if structures and people are not threatened. There is a pretty big fire to the south and it IS being fought, trying to keep it away from small towns and villages. Thursday, and then again today, the wind shifted and the southerlies are pushing the smoke up here.

Windows closed and fan running. We need RAIN!!
