Laney College students marched in protest and some heckled University of California President Janet Napolitano as she gave a commencement address at the community college's graduation ceremony Saturday.

Booing and at one point turning their backs on her, dozens of students, faculty and supporters in the audience objected to remarks by the former chief of Homeland Security, who has been faulted for her stance on immigration issues during her time with the Obama administration. Many pumped their fists as a gesture of defiance.

"No one could hear her as she was speaking, the whole time," said Yvette Felarca, one of the organizers of the protest. "It was a very proud day for Oakland..."

How many of these skulls-full-of-mush have or will find gainful employment? That’s what they should be angry about!

These graduates thought Big Sis actually enforced immigration law? (The article never says, but it was in California.) These little over-schooled neophytes can't see when a government stooge is lying and pretending and actually doing precisely what they want.

Well, community college isn’t exactly over-schooling. Although, it appears many of the graduates have been schooled above their level of competence. I’ll bet the welding students weren’t protesting.

"It was a very proud day for Oakland..."

Is that a slam against community college students?

I’d take ANY community college grad over the pompous ivy-league “intellectuals” we have (allegedly) leading our country, Any. Day. Of. The. Week.

It’s a slam against these Oakland Community College students, who appear to be jealous of the UC Berkley students in nearby Berkley.
