There is talk on the web of the Robert’s average IQ being very low. Well, I’ll tell you all, if you can match Phil Robertson’s IQ, you are probably the smartest person in the room. In fact, there are a couple other Robertson’s on the show that display commendable rational talent. I would not play poker with them.

We all know that claiming somebody has a low IQ is a desperate attempt to discredit the person when you ve run out of other things. They’ve done it with plenty of political figures, and our side does it too. There’s also a difference between wisdom and IQ and one sees evidence of that every day. IQ doesn’t say anything to character, morality or practical real-world experience, either.
I don’t watch TV any more and it’s unlikely that I’ll ever see Duck Dynasty or any other reality show, but I do admire him for standing by what he said, when so many won’t. The fact that its Biblical and his faith is probably the reason he stands by it. Christians have never, as far as I know, been promised that their path would always be easy or popular.
