Did you see their faces on the TV coverage? None of them were smiling and it seemed apparent that several were going out of their way to avoid shaking his hand. (Not that he cares.)

Depends what the motives are based upon.
Are those motives truly to honor the troops or are they for obscenely arrogant and narcissistic personal/political motives such as to divert attention off the multitudes of scandals, lies about healthcare, etc., by the America-despising, military-hating, Muslim-aiding and abetting, Frank Marshall Davis-mentored, Christian-hating (e.g., abortion support required by law every American in his 'signature legislation' ), Marxist/Alinskyite, on whose watch, for example, the VA scandal has gone viral after he had promised in campaigns over and over he would 'fix' and an administration that has obfuscated information from Congress and all Americans on details of the worst terrorist attack on American interests since 911 ?
Totally agree with you. We know what we’re up against...let’s complete this mission and win this war. Don’t know how, don’t know when, but with firm resolve and God’s help, we WILL WIN. May God Bless America. On this Memorial Day, let the memory of all our brave men and women who sacrificed so much in wars passed be our guide.

I know he does not have any pure motives when meeting the troops or really when he does anything that would be deemed patriotic.
I’d rather him be nowhere near our military members. I am sure they were forced to be “happy” as well.
too bad he can’t make a surprise visit to Antarctica to visit the penguins.
