Prominent Harvard Prof. Alan Dershowitz’s Comments About Ted Cruz Could Help His 2016 Chances

Prominent Harvard Law professor Alan Dershowitz offered words of praise for former student Ted Cruz in a new interview with the Philadelphia Inquirer:

U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R., Texas): “Off-the-charts brilliant. And you know, liberals make the terrible mistake, including some of my friends and colleagues, of thinking that all conservatives are dumb. And I think one of the reasons that conservatives have been beating liberals in the courts and in public debates is because we underestimate them. Never underestimate Ted Cruz. He is off-the-chart brilliant. I don’t agree with his politics.”

But the retiring Dershowitz couldn’t similarly evaluate another Harvard Law alumnus:

There was also the Harvard Law student who couldn’t get into a Dershowitz class despite multiple attempts: Barack Obama.

“Twice because the computer kept him out,” Dershowitz said. “It wasn’t my fault.”

I do not believe Schumer ever taught but to my understanding he graduated summa cum laude from Harvard.

I would trust Alan Dershowitz with my life... which doesn’t mean that I agree with his politics - but does mean t he’s an honest and trustworthy person IMHO.

"I would trust Dershowitz with my life...he's an honest and trustworthy person".

I don't have to be a Hahvahd perfesser to know that I'd never place myself in a position where Der Dershowitz would be anywhere near control of my life.

Again, there's no such thing as an "honest" liberal/socialist/marxist/statist/redistributionist...except when they candidly reveal the nature and aims of their respective ideologies.

Like Obama, who candidly, openly, honestly stated in his 2008 campaign he would "fundamentaly change the United States" and he is keeping that promise.

His "change" is to be the catalyst for ruination of the nation, shredding the Constitution and one-world government. Of course, at least he was "honest and trustworthy" about his intentions.....and he DOES do some "good things", doesn't he?

During his career, the Dersh has always occasionally thrown out truffles he unearths which cause some swooningly-thankful conservatives to "respect his honesty". Delicious truffles like supporting Israel, taking an occasional poke at Obama and tossing out some compliments about Sen. Cruz.

Which only serves to point out to those who "respect" Obama-supporting DemoRats like Dershowitz....beware of Harvard geeks bearing gifts.
