The Return of Bob Lee Swagger; Ruger Auction - This Week on Gun Talk Radio

Mandeville, LA – It’s a new Bob Lee Swagger novel from author Stephen Hunter, a Ruger auction benefiting The Light Foundation (founded by pro-footballer Matt Light), a reloading company that’s been around for more than six decades, and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk® Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

This Sunday, novelist Stephen Hunter stops by Gun Talk to discuss his newest book, Sniper’s Honor. This latest tale from Hunter has character Bob Lee Swagger investigating why the greatest WWII sniper - Ludmilla “Mili” Petrova - was erased from history. Sniper’s Honor is available at Amazon.com: http://amzn.to/QNPISI.

Former New England Patriot Matt Light and his wife Susie established The Light Foundation in 2001 as a non-profit organization that serves at-risk youth and gives them a better chance to lead a healthy life. In March, Ruger teamed up with Matt in an ongoing fundraising auction to benefit The Light Foundation. The auctions will continue until the 10th Annual Celebrity Shootout on September 23, 2014. Individual firearms will be announced every Wednesday and will remain up for bid for a duration of two weeks.

"Ruger has been a longtime partner of the Light Foundation, and their commitment to our mission has enabled us to fund programs and services for at-risk youth in need of mentoring and guidance”, said Light. In addition to the vast selection of firearms up for bid, Matt will include signed memorabilia such as jerseys, baseball caps and more with auction items. Light visits with Tom on Sunday to discuss the auction and his charity. Check out current firearms for auction at http://www.ruger.com/auction, and learn more about The Light Foundation at http://www.mattlight72.com.

Speaking of Ruger, I love my Ruger Mark I 22LR, made in 1953...same year I graduated from high school. Found it at a gun show 3 years ago. It is one fine pistol.
