“Either the reviews were unfair, and held back employees of exceptional merit, or they were fair and recognized employees working above their median abilities.”
The government won’t fix what ails “preferred minorities” in the classroom, so after giving them fake diplomas and degrees they have to pretend they can contribute something (when supervisors can clearly see that many can’t). If we are going to pretend that they are educated, than we are going to pretend that they can do well in a job; merit and ability has nothing to do with it. To look at ability is to be racist; we must all practice the soft bigotry of lowered (if any) expectations.
How about pretending to pay them too? :=)
