Eurosceptic 'earthquake' rocks EU elections
BBC ^ | 26 May 2014

Eurosceptic and far-right parties have seized ground in elections to the European parliament, in what France's PM called a "political earthquake".

UK Independence Party and French National Front both performed strongly. The three big centrist blocs all lost seats, though still hold the majority.

The outcome means a greater say for those who want to cut back the EU's powers, or abolish it completely.

UK PM David Cameron said the public was "disillusioned" with the EU.

Mr Cameron said their message was "received and understood".

French President Francois Hollande has called an urgent meeting of his cabinet, as Prime Minister Manuel Valls promised tax cuts a day after the results which he described as "a shock, an earthquake".

Chancellor Angela Merkel - whose party topped the poll in Germany - described the far right victories as "remarkable and regrettable" and said the best response was to boost economic growth and jobs.

Jose Manuel Barroso, outgoing president of the European Commission, stressed that the pro-EU blocs still had "a very solid and workable majority".

He said a "truly democratic debate" was needed to address the concerns of those who did not vote, or "voted in protest".

Many Europeans are disgusted with the flood of African & Islamist immigrants. Can there be hope for us?

But that does not mean they will back off on the plans for a New World Order. It must continue!

Not to worry, the EU dictatorship has made sure the Euro parliament has very little power. Their elections mainly serve to make Euros think they “voted”.

But their parliament is not in control of much. It barely possesses legislative initiative. Pretty much its a rubber stamp and has supposed “control” of their budget.

But the unelected Commission and Council hold all the cards. Only the appointed Commission can propose laws which the Parliament can vote on.

I'd like to think so.  I seriously doubt it, at this point.

National leaders comprise the council. They appoint EU commission members.

The European Council votes by qualified majority for a nominee for the post of President, taking account of the latest European elections. This proposal is then put before Parliament which must approve or veto the appointment. If an absolute majority of MEPs support the nominee, he/she is elected.

The unelected hold all the cards there.

Cameron knows what the elites that hate Farage and UKIP want.

His job is to fool the average voter into believing that he is on their side and not on the side of the EU, when he’s really on the side of the elites and their progressive self-serving agenda.

A couple of blowhard leftists in my local newspaper attributed the British election results to “Astroturf” campaigns under control of “the American right.” According to these smug, condescending leftists, the British who voted for the independence party are too stupid to know what’s good for them.

The same people who appoint our commision.
Bilderburg, Council on Foreign Relations, Rothchilds, Goldman Sachs, and here in America at least we have a guy named George Soros who has an employee named Valerie Jarret who works right next to our puppet dictator.

I know, we are always “voting against our best interests” according the them. As if that is the only criteria for voting.

I love that phrase. Because if that is the only criteria for voting, then it would vote to take from everyone else and give it myself! That is what is in MY best interest.

I would dearly love to “vote in my own best interest” and then see how they like it.

Multiple politicians in the EU have come forth with the phrase ‘protest vote.’ While it may well be the question is will the entrenched powers pay attention or simply slap on some lipstick and hope nobody notices any changes are only cosmetic? If they don’t change, if they don’t understand that wiping out their own cultures in the name of diversity is going to be losing hand going forward then the protest vote will become the status quo.

When does the American-centric push back begin or is it going to require a bit more of a bloodied mess to bring back the America we used to have?

Let us never forget that the rhetoric of 95 percent of Republicans right now is just as empty.

The Republicans are building a new international economic order just as much as the politicians in Europe with reduced benefits for workers (Obamacare-Romneycare) and a cheaper labor force (Amnesty) with the use of Common Core to educate the future workforce.

They are also bending to the creation of societal changes like gay marriage that promotes the marginalization and persecution of religious people who oppose it.

After November and right before the new year is the likely window for the GOP and Obama to cut their “immigration reform” deal.
