Not sure what you think they’d hope to find. The military is a forerunner for race relations. The truth outs in a functional system and the truth is that race in meaningless when it comes to jobs well done.
There are jobs to be done in the military. And they either get done or someone else will come in and do them. There might be racism and sexism as the low side of human nature will be everywhere, and there is a particular coddling of those nearing retirement allowing them to do nothing if they choose, but those in the military realize they do not Ned’s nor therefore do they depend on the race hustlers who thrive in the inner city.
Those guys never enter into the fray where the military is concerned. And they are not needed
And they will not find any racism regarding treatment at the VA. As disappointed as they would be. They won’t even look for it. They know
