A quarter of the adult population has an STD, though herpes is a large chunk of that. Over a generation of “safe sex” lectures, and we don’t have it. We do have a sexually active population at all levels spreading disease.
Multiple antibiotic resistant gonorrhea is already here, spreading among gays.
