The fact that she trusted him rules out the possibility of rape? I’m not following that leap of logic.

She’s also a physician, and one of the docs was her mentor. Lies can certainly come from either sex in these situations, but the fact that this guy was married, in a mentor relationship with her, and thought it was OK to take her drinking and to a room with another guy tells you something about who this guy is. Plus, in my opinion, if that’s the way you conduct yourself in your personal life, with situational ethics, I don’t trust your ethics as a doctor.
