A teacher told attendees at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics Monday night that he helped write the controversial Common Core education standards to end white privilege. Dr. David Pook, a professor at Granite State College and chair of the History department at The Derryfield School in Manchester, New Hampshire, argued in favor of Common Core.
“The reason why I helped write the standards and the reason why I am here today is that as a white male in society I am given a lot of privilege that I didn't earn.” Ironically, the $28,535 per year Derryfield School that Dr. Pook teaches at considers the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) inferior and does not use them on the student body that is 91% white. Obama is hiring minorities now to replace the White air traffic controllers, no matter what their qualifications are to do the job. The FAA officials are publicly stating that this is their hiring plan, but privately a few in the FAA are saying that this policy change came directly from the White House.

Brittany Powers graduated this month with a college degree that prepared her for a job as an air traffic controller, chasing a dream that began when she was a teenager.
“I was 13 or 14 and our family was driving past O’Hare on our way to Six Flags (amusement park) and I asked my mom what they do up in the tower,” said Powers, now 22, of Plainfield.
But the honors student at Lewis University in Romeoville has already been passed over by her prospective employer, the Federal Aviation Administration, solely because of her answers on a new “biographical assessment’’ that includes questions about how peers would describe the individual and the age at which the person started to earn money.
It’s the result of an abrupt overhaul this year to the FAA’s air traffic controller hiring policy, which for almost 25 years gave preferred status to aviation graduates like Powers as well as former military controllers. Now, the FAA is conducting an off-the-street recruiting process for all candidates. It begins with the assessment, which is open to most people with a high school diploma.

Maybe conservatives will figure out one day that they are dumping even more fuel onto this "racist" bullshit by paying any attention to the ones flogging the subject. Here's a hint, boys and girls...you aren't going to beat these people in a game where they set all the rules. So you get some clowns on the tube screaming racist this a d racist that. Ignore them to death. Refuse to engage anyone who brings up the subject. Any effort you put into this will be turned against you. It's like the old movie "War Games" : the only way to win is not to play.
