Obviously, you have no experience with farming and raising animals for food. You would be wise to not dig any deeper into what animals eat, and that ultimately end up on your table.

I knew a guy who had an arrangement with the public school cafeterias in our area...he picked up all the used food (slop) every day for his pigs.
(That was 60 years ago, ahem)

‘Don’t buy the crap that there are too many people in the world. If you take the population of the world and stuck them in Texas they would all have about a thousand square feet. That is just Texas. Google it and you will see.’
I don’t buy it. When ever I see a newspaper article come out and others quickly parrot the same line I figure the government is calling the shots on it. Folks that don’t know any better will fall for it and all kinds of nasty things can follow. For instance the idea that treatment should be withheld for old people, well they have lived a long time and we really can’t afford to keep paying for them and the world is crowded, so think the LIV and they never question the reports they read, they never question anything in life.
Probably right about the pigs would be near impossible to clean any concrete area and get all the bacteria.
Whenever I see reports of overcrowding I know the government is behind it. Whenever I see reports that meat is bad for you, I know the government is behind it. When I see ads for old folks to get their flu shots, and shortly thereafter there is an outbreak of flu, I know the government is culling the herd. Whenever I hear how the Fed is buying treasury issued debt, I know the government is up to no good and wonder what they are giving up for collateral, what state what national park, just what.
Whenever some leftwing crazy goes on a shooting spree, I figure the government is probably pushing his buttons and when gun grabbers raise the cry, Moms Against Violence or whoever, I know the government is behind it.
In short whatever is anti American and bad for our country, I know this government is behind it.

That was done for years and may still be, at least in the 80’s, in Las Vegas, for food scraps from the casinos, to hog operations nearby.

But my point is, the slop of which you speak is gravy compared to what can and does get consumed by farm animals just milling around. I’ll leave it at that. Spoken from an ex-farm “hand”.

I read that much of the Tilapia Fish imported to the US from Asia are grown in ponds fed by pig feces and run-off from pig farming.

You shouldn't eat it because it contains Omega-6 which is unhealthy for you.

I have heard similar stories. We should not eat anything from Asian countries. Period. They have no interest in our health, which could be said for the USDA as well.
