Who?
Sometimes the things that pop into my head, though true, are better left unwritten.
Is she the one who wrote...”Kill my landlord....Kill my landlord....C-I-L-L my landlord”?
Unfortunately, I won’t have time to mourn today: must put air in the tires, floss my teeth and go to the drycleaners.
The liberal media and the WH will canonize her a saint by the end of the day. May God have mercy on her soul.
So?
She was black. That tells you everything.
Saw this quote from her posted on Twitter:
“There’s a world of difference between truth and facts. Facts can obscure the truth.”
Ummm. What?
The lights are dimmed and flags lowered at Hallmark.
'Maya Angelou' on Imus in the Morning (Clip 1)
I have nothing nice to say about the dead. I predict I will get weary of hearing this news and that’s all I will say.
A bad poetry tribute to Maya Angelou:
Gone from us Maya, we all haz a sad
You were so old with poems so bad
You wrote what you felt which sadly was poo
We miss you already oh my Angelou.
Eh.
Whatever.
Back in ‘92-’93, I worked with a white, middle-class, college educated woman in her early 20s who described Angelou as her favorite poet. I should’ve regarded that as a portent.
“Cue the White House and the MSMedia... this is gonna be painted on thick today. “
You mean the wh flag hasn’t already been lowered to half mast and pictures of orah, mooch and bammy tearfully moaning underneath?
And the world still goes on... Amazing...
May her family have peace during their difficult time.
Trayvon
by Maya Angeloo
I sing of thee Trayvon
Lamented burnt umber crayon
Shoud of stayed at home
and got your lay-on
But you heard the siren song of wet grass
and headed for Seven Elevon.
Zimmerman the triggerman
Big game hunter lay in wait
White hispanic in a panic
Rubberheaded, held your fate.
By punching him, you tried to reason
You cant of known - was black-boy season
Stand your ground, ground and pound,
Frito Bandito shot you down.
Now I’ll never find out why the caged bird sings!
