Glenn Greenwald, the journalist who helped NSA leaker Edward Snowden expose state secrets to the world, is set to make his “biggest” disclosure yet — the names of Americans the government spied on, he told The Sunday Times.

Greenwald added that Snowden’s legacy will be “shaped in large part” by this “finishing piece,” which is based on information obtained in the nearly 2 million documents the former NSA contractor secretly stole from the government.

Maybe included in the Snowden release will be the IRS emails that the Regime refuses to turn over to Congress.

It would be the honor of a lifetime if I found out that little-old-me was on the list.

I’ll be so embarrassed if I’m not included.

No, the American people will not wake up. Even Les Moonves and the rest of the communist apparatchiks will not wake up. This is playing out just like it did in Solzhenitsyn’s “Gulag Archipelago.”

The American people have been stampeded from one manufactured faux crisis to the next, all the while they have seen the public beat down of decent people who had the temerity to express the same opinions they hold themselves. And the American people are worn down and worn out. A quote from a good friend in my Sunday School class when discussing these issues: “I’m just tired of it all.” I think she spoke for far too many Americans. They have quit fighting the culture war, because the real consequences haven’t hit home yet. And they don’t want to get publicly humiliated.

And as for the communist apparatchiks in the media/entertainment propaganda complex? They will be just like Kamenev, Zinoviev, Bukharin, Tukachevsky and millions of others. Those men knew they were being spied upon. But they thought they were somehow exempt; they were with the “in crowd.” And when the knock on the door came at 2:00 a.m., they thought it was “all a big mistake.” They wrote their letters to the Great Stalin asking that he intervene, and even to the point of being dragged to the three man firing squad in the basement of the Lubyanka, they thought “if only Stalin knew....”

Snowden will release his names. People here will call him a traitor, others will be outraged at the NSA, and some will have a sense of Schadenfreude.

And nothing will change.

I don’t think the list (and certainly NOT the complete list) will ever see the light of day.

Greenwald hinted it would be in a matter of days.

My brother is a retired electonics engineer. He told me (early 90’s) that the government was listening to phone calls in the late 70’s for keywords and pulling recording the conversations for analysis. He worked on the programs. He said there was some really scary stuff (much worse) that he was afraid to talk about. I consider Snowden a hero for spreading sunshine on all of this overreach.

He should save his ink and paper by disclosing those NOT spied upon.

The resulting “list” would be a single blank sheet of paper

If they take photos of all my mother’s mail there would be no bandwidth left in the universe to take photos of anyone else’s mail.

I’m serious. I’m expecting her mail carrier to start bringing her mail by mule train. She doesn’t have a mail box, she has a huge USPS plastic bin on the front porch for the mail to go in.

It would be nice to think that an impeachment might come out of the biggest rape of the bill of rights to date. But thanks to a pack of morons who decided to impeach slick over lying about a blowjob instead of the Chinese getting a pack of US rocket and weapons technology, no president will ever face impeachment again.

Somehow I don’t think you’ll be on the list with the handle you’re using. You might be mistaken for BO or his dog.

I wonder how many on the list will be conservatives who have been targeted simply for being conservatives. We already know the IRS used this targeting criteria.

If this was a list from the paranoid lefties of the FBI, I would agree with you. They're nuts over there... But hopefully the NSA is attempting to protect the country. That's my prayer... We'll know soon - for the sake of the country, I hope I'm right.
