Thousands of California minorities face double the risk of complications from non-physician abortion

SACRAMENTO, CA, May 27, 2014 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Since Gov. Jerry Brown signed a sweeping new bill into law last October, the state of California has trained dozens of non-physicians to perform abortions, and the state's women are likely to suffer double the rate of complications as a result, pro-life experts tell LifeSiteNews.

Gov. Brown signed A.B. 154, introduced by San Diego Democrat Toni Atkins, to authorize midwives, nurse practitioners, and physicians’ assistants to perform first-trimester suction aspiration abortions. His office said the new law would “support the health and well-being of women in California.”

Though I respect Nurse Practioners, I would not trust them to do surgery. They might do a good job writing prescriptions and performing other medical jobs.

But cutting on a human being they are not trained for. As for the other folks (midwives, physician assistants), I have less faith in them to perform cutting on human beings.

But then it is okay to maim minorities

Note that some Physician Assistants are folks who HAVE FLUNKED OUT OF MEDICAL SCHOOL.

Jerry Brown has found a good use for them: maiming minorities

The goal of Margaret Thanger/Planned Parenthood was to kill dark-skinned babies.

Knocking off momma or making them unable to ever carry a baby is a two-fer for these racists.

Note that http://reproductiveresearchaudit.com/ is critical of very parts of the Abortion Industry. They are a source for this article, and advocacy group to protect girls/women.

I don’t believe they do any cutting. This though is essentially back alley abortions made legal. They just replaced the clothes hanger for a vacuum pump. Not without complications either way.

Okay, but they can still leave parts of the unborn baby inside the womb, and cause dangerous septic infections...

What happens if they cannot suck part of the baby out? What can they do? What if they misjudge the age of the baby and it is, for example, over 6 months along, and create a mess inside the womb of the girl/woman? These things are possible with people without the proper medical training.

I have to admit, I don’t get all these stories on safety hazards when thousands of human beings are killed every year in these places.

It’s like making a story about how dangerous the facilities at Auschwitz were and many of the guards were at risk.

I agree. That’s exactly the issue.

California in a misguided effort, stopped illegal backalley abortions by legalizing them.

“But then it is okay to maim minorities “

A Margaret Sanger and the KKK agree.

Shouldn't you be more concerned over the training Hoover is giving the vacuum salesmen?

Moonbeam offering up a two fer for Sanger, not just destroying the child but possibly the mother also! As I have said before, there is not one office that moonbeam has held while sucking on the public teat his entire life that he has not left worse off than when he took it. And watch the fools of California re-elect him, not that the GOPuttzes are giving voters a better option.

They might do a good job writing prescriptions and performing other medical jobs.

That didn't work out so well for my son. The person who gave him a prescription for Z-Pak to treat bronchitis failed to note he was a cardiac patient. Four open heart surgeries, two artificial valves, a tricuspid band and pacemaker. He had been on Coumadin for 22 years. He died of sudden cardiac death. You're a fool to put your life in the hands of a PA or NP if your medical problems have any level of complication. They simply lack the training and skill to avoid a subtle, fatal error. You don't get a second bite at the apple.

What training? ... [ /sarcasm off ]

Maybe Jerry Brown is curing California's budget problems by killing as many minorities as possible: babies and their mothers...

Sorry to hear. I have gone through some nursing training (but was forced to drop out).

I have a nephew who just got his MD. Having an MD with a speciality in what you are being treated for is the best way to get medical treatment.

In the case of my nephew, he was a medical tech (X-Ray) before going back to school in Pre-Med.

He has some experience to work with before going to Medical School, and he did better than most Medical Students because of his experience prior to entering Medical School...

I am almost 60 and I have only taken anti-biotics a few times in my life (I can count them on my fingers)...

The medical profession tends to over medicate -- at times...

pro-life ping...

Note about RRA -- Reproductive Research Audit -- is a pro-life alternative to the Guttmacher Institute (Guttmacher is, of course, strongly biased to be pro-abortion).

Their website is:

Keep an eye on this organization for news!

But then it is okay to maim minorities

Isn't a "successful procedure" one that results in the maiming of a minority, anyway?

Back to back alleys and coathangers (the reason the "women's health" crowd pushed for legalization in the first place).

Nah, more like making the slave labor wear hard hats and steel-toed boots...

The medical profession tends to throw crap at the
wall in hopes that it fixes the problem. Peddling
the antibiotic of the month from the big pharma
pill pusher is lazy and dangerous. The 5 minute
cattle car interview is the norm for “service”.
I had intended to pursue med school. After
finishing UCSD at 19, I decided to pursue a master’s
in pathogenic bacteriology. It is that background
that irks me when I see typical medical practice
today. The CS/EE world is how I earn a living now.
No regrets.

Thanks for the RRA link: I bookmarked it.

The sequelae will include maternal complication leading to future miscarriages., sterility, and maternal deaths. Two birds with one stone.

The CA med establishment doesn't care who does the abortions: PA's, NP's, midwives, veterinarians, taxidermists. They just want to get 'er done. Bastards.
