Pregnancy is the normal state of the uterus. That is a medical fact.

Ridiculous. So a woman who never gets pregnant has an abnormal uterus for her lifetime? So virtually all women have "abnormal state" organs for the majority of their adult lives?

I think some folks come to conclusions based on nothing. It is obvious the poster has never taken a simple intro physiology class

Pregnancy is not a disease. Women’s health issues revolve around avoiding pregnancy, terminating it and treating pregnancy as an unhealthy status

Wrong

while stated inelegantly..the statement would be true..an organ has a function..what is the function of the uterus?

reproductive organs are for reproduction that's true for both men and women no need to be offended by that..

Thanks...good retort. That has to be among the stupidest statements I’ve ever read on FR...or anywhere on the web, for that matter.

I think it is true that women who have never breastfed have a higher rate of breast cancer and women who have never had pregnancies have a higher rate of ovarian cancer.

Not here to argue - I couldn't care less. But I think the statistics bear that out.
