Good point - and I am too. We aren't talking about a Lockheed Ventura in the 1930's...this is a 777-200...with a bunch of people on board. Something is fishy (pardon the possible pun) here.

I don't see how some fisherman/pleasure boater would not have accidently found something. It's not straight. No matter what angle the plane crashed at there is a bunch of stuff on any plane that floats...and this is a BIG plane, lotsa stuff...and planes just don't hit the water and easily descend below the waves without stuff coming out.
