As usual with government officials operating in massive bureaucracy, and specifically under the Obama administration, Lynch, Mooney and Huff didn't have many answers to the questions being posed by lawmakers.
Further, Congressman Tim Huelskamp expressed frustration over the Department's stonewalling of document requests surrounding the scandal.
President Obama has said he wants to wait until an Inspector General report is released about the scandal before taking further action. In other words, as usual the President is trying run out the clock and the attention span of the American people, which won't work this time.

I fear the author overestimates the pig-dog filth that is the American voter.
Wait, let me get my shocked expression face on.
I helped a cattle rancher and former business partner and close best friend of over 40 years to pour cement on a 40ft by 14 ft pad for the cows to stand on at the hay racks in the pasture. Long story short, I give myself in inguinal hernia October 2012.
In 2012 I went to the VA, I was unemployed, underemployed, made less than 10,000 in all of 2012. BUT, I made a lot of money in 2011, six figures, and I was told I was not sufficiently indigent to get my VA benefits. Well, 24 years of service and they wanted to make sure that I paid nothing in taxes to support the VA or they could not treat me. It gets better.
I am still waiting for treatment. They do provide pain pills.
So the year after I paid 55,000 in taxes I could not be helped by the VA.
And after that I am still waiting.
People who pay a lot in taxes are ineligible, those who pay nothing, you get the benefits, just wait a few years, we’ll get to you eventually.
The VA—stands for very aggravating.
Over the years, Doormat Republican Boehner has been able to fund all of the Democrats’ Commander in Chief Obama’s Military decisions.
Speaker Boehner has thus been essential to helping Obama to lead from the bottom of a Socialist, Group Hug, Hell Hole.
Speaker Boehner should indeed be in line for a promotion by Arrogant Commander in Chief Obama.
Over the years, Boehner has doubled the taxpayer dollars sent to the failed Veterans Administration.
The rumor that a grateful, but still Arrogant, Obama is considering promoting Boehner to be in charge of the Veterans Administration has yet to be confirmed.
Deny deny deny delay delay delay. Its the Obama and the Alinsky game plan. Always was, always will be until the congress and (unlikely) the MSM gets their act together. Had this been any (R) he would have been on a fast plane to GITMO by now. Marxists protecting their own. If you think the last five were bad wait until you see what he has in store for the next three.
The Democrats are falling apart. This is the best summer I’ve had since I was a kid.
But not too soon. The Demonrats' bodies should eventually fall apart from where they are left hanging by a rope after they have been tried, convicted, and sentenced for treason.
The GOP should be running ads of Obama promising to fix the VA.
And be labeled as racist? Because that's all they got!
Why should they answer? What will Congress do other than huff and puff?
