I quit a good job when they told me I would need to start going to Chennai twice a year for a week to 10 days at a time.
Have you ever seen anything of India? That place is a horrible, 3rd-world cesspool! Apart from any muslim country, this tops my list of places never to go to.
I went to India on business two years ago. One of the issues they have in the rural areas is that there are no facilities. Basically, girls have to go off into the woods to take a squat. Rape is a real ensuing problem. I am guessing that is why the two girls went together, as a safety measure.
