I understand language. It is Russian, why not Ukrainian? They elected same oligarch as before.
WHY? Two reasons I think:
1. Russian language is used to prove language is not a divisive barrier in Ukraine
2. So the Russian people can hear for themselves their cause to remain one nation: Ukraine as mentioned in the lyrics.
You know this does NOT have to be divisive: Canada is bi-lingual with both English and French having equal status.
