If you were looking for Energy Secy Ernest Moniz, you might want to consult the 2014 electoral map of endangered Democrats as a guide. Mr. Moniz toured Louisiana’s Gulf Coast oil and gas operations to assure the industry the administration supported its growth even as the president rolls out his climate change agenda. At his side was Sen. Mary Landrieu, Louisiana Democrat, one of the most vulnerable incumbents in this fall’s election.
Mr. Moniz followed up by announcing the loosening of regulations governing exports of liquefied natural gas, one of the pet issues of Ms. Landrieu and another vulnerable energy-state Democrat, Sen. Mark Begich of Alaska. And on Friday, the energy chief heads to Colorado, where he’ll appear with yet another endangered Democrat, Sen. Mark Udall......just one sign of the Obama admin’s concerted effort to use government to prop up its chances of keeping a Democrat-controlled Senate November.
From grants to visits, even the declaration of a new national monument, the Obama administration has flexed its muscle — and opened the purse strings — in recent weeks to help its party incumbents in what is shaping up to be a tough re-election battle for Democrats.
Congress has investigated Obama’s White House political affairs office for straying too far into electoral politics on the taxpayer’s dime. The president temporarily disbanded the office but recently restored it to action, to the dismay of some GOP lawmakers.

And have you noticed? Obama's headlining so many Democrat fund-raisers---but there's so few Obama stops on the Democrats' campaign trail (snicker).
Obama seems unusually toxic this election season because his approach to governing has been to shove all of his mindless left-wing nonsense down the throats of Americans.
His usual MO is to make excuses and try to blame Republicans when the policies don’t work out.......as he and his Democrat rubber stampers sap-happily said they would.

BACKSTORY In the fall of 2009, Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was trying to get the necessary 60 Dimocrat votes to pass the Affordable Care Act. He needed every Dim on board, which gave waffling senators a great deal of leverage. In Landrieu's case, she connivingly saw that selling her aye vote could get her maybe $200 million federal dollars. Obama complied--- Reid chalked up another vote for Obamacare---and the $4.3 Landrieu giveaway was attached to the Obamacare bill.

THE "Louisisana Purchase" PAPER TRAIL IS HUGE Sen Landrieu (Scumocrat-LA) sold her aye vote in what Forbes Magazine dubbed "The 'Louisiana Purchase" that included a massive $4.3 Billion to Landrieu.
FORBES REPORTED the Democrats’ nailed Landrieu’s support for Obamacare w/ a greenback bribe. Landrieu, critics believe, pledged her vote in exchange for some $200 million more additional federal funds for Louisiana.
