IF your version of what she posted is true, she could fight the ticket, and she should.
But in the end she should probably just buy the pass and bring the dog to the park. Assuming they’ve got that cough situation cleared up.
I have no idea what kind of a place this is, you have to get a permit to walk your dog in a park?
What do you mean by IF my version is true? My post had to do with the simple grammatical meaning of what she allegedly posted on Facebook.
I do not have a “version” of what the woman actually put on Facebook, nor will I ever know firsthand, because I have nothing to do with Facebook.
As for what kind of place this is, the article mentions “Chicago-area”, which might provide a clue.
If you read the article, she eventually explains that she meant she was feeling bad about not bringing the dog to the park, but was glad she hadn’t been bringing the dog to the park after all because of the kennel cough problem. The ticket was dropped after she explained her comment.
She also commented on the Facebook page for the dog park, NOT on her own Facebook page. Kind of different as far as privacy expectations, I’d say.
