But she “signed up”, so to the national press and the Democrats, that’s a success story for Obamacare. And she had “health coverage” by virtue of having the policy - the stated goal of Obamacare and the socialized medicine advocates. Being able to get actual health care is a different matter entirely.
And the Obamacare advocates stated that the types of insurance available before were “substandard” and Obamacare was superior. That $1500 she’s wasted as premium sure would have paid for a lot of doctor’s visits completely out of pocket with no insurance at all. So Obamacare makes it less likely people will be able to afford basic health care needs.
