Robert Greene’s “48 Laws of Power” is must read for any one wanting to understand life in the world today. Alynski may have directed the ‘how’ but Greene explains ‘why’.

“...scam to get taxpayer dollars to fund more erroneous projects and studies and create more job security for those tasked with those projects and studies”

Absolutely true. Good post.

Many studies are just gravy trains for bureaucrats, academics, and contractors. The trick, of course, is to design the study to produce the desired findings. And a really “good” study spawns even more studies.

Oh I had enough a long time ago. The problem is that I can’t get enough people to elect principled conservatives to fry these bastards in a court of law.

Too many people will settle for winning for the sake of winning, then bitch when the ‘winners’ perpetuate the problem. Until that changes, nothing changes.

Leftists have politicized EVERYTHING. And at every turn, the end justifies the means. Lie, cheat, steal? No problem if it advances ‘Progressive Ideology’. Appalling.

They gain money and power from this. Nobody has ever stopped them, or even slowed them down.

We point out their hypocrisy and corruption, but that does nothing. They laugh at us.

Expect more of the same from liberals and for it to get worse.

'“A heckler once interrupted Nikita Khrushchev in the middle of a speech in which he was denouncing the crimes of Stalin. “You were a colleague of Stalin’s,” the heckler yelled, “why didn’t you stop him then?” Khrushschev apparently could not see the heckler and barked out, “Who said that?” No hand went up. No one moved a muscle. After a few seconds of tense silence, Khrushchev finally said in a quiet voice, “Now you know why I didn’t stop him.” Instead of just arguing that anyone facing Stalin was afraid, knowing that the slightest sign of rebellion would mean certain death, he had made them feel what it was like to face Stalin—had made them feel the paranoia, the fear of speaking up, the terror of confronting the leader, in this case Khrushchev. The demonstration was visceral and no more argument was necessary.” ― Robert Greene, The 48 Laws of Power Is this why no one will hold Obama accountable? They are afraid of audits and blackmail? Someone in power must stand up for the Law and the American people. This is NOT what was intended by our Founding Fathers!

Should be a couple of empty lines between ‘Power’ and ‘Is’. Cannot change the post now.

Point out the financial waste and abuse in any government agency or program, and you get laughed at. Even politicians claim that it would cost more to alleviate the fraud and abuse than what the fraud and abuse costs.

Makes one wonder how many cronies of policians are ‘in’ on the fraud and abuse.

Similar with the openness of the southern border. They keep it that way for a reason — they benefit from it.
