Mummy blogger Lacey Spears is being investigated after her son died of a suspected salt overdose.
Five-year-old Garnett Spears died suspiciously in January from acute sodium poisoning, reports the Daily Mail. Lacey built a following blogging about her son's illness for many years, dubbing her son "Garnett the Great".
A source close to the investigation told Fox News, "It's evident by the nature of what was found in his body that somebody, in effect, poisoned him.”

Wow, thanks for posting that, as it explains some of the confusing geographical references (I couldn’t figure out where anything was happening in that first story, which was from Australia too).
But quite frankly I had to stop reading it, I was just getting too creeped out.
I think this woman murdered her son. Made him sick his entire life, denied him his father, and killed him.
Why? So she could be a mini-celeb on the internet?
That child appears to be perfectly healthy.
And who would put pictures of their dying child on the internet?
She’ll be boo-hooing I’m sure. She’ll be saying #waronwomen too no doubt.
If these suspicions prove true I hope they lock her up and throw away the key. She can get whatever psych treatment she needs in prison.

Munchausen. Look it up - sick, sick, sick.
I know there were some famous cases with Munchausens by proxy that didn’t end well. One was a mom in upstate NY who murdered 7 of her 8 children. Another case in Philly of a mom who murdered 5 or 6 of her children.
I believe the DSM iv says because it’s a personality flaw, there is no cure. I don’t know what the DSM 5 says. It’s been awhile since I’ve had abnormal psych,

This should be a warning to all men — keep your pants zipped up. Having these casual affairs with women you don’t know is dehumanizing to you, the woman and any possible child. This world is getting crazier every day. The women are not going to stop the hook-up culture — it’s the avenue they seek out to get attention from men and also offspring like Lacey Spears did. Lacey doesn’t even look like she prefers men.

Absolutely; as American men retreat from marriage and children many women have no other means to bear offspring than simply put themselves out there and hope some drunk is too far gone to use a condom. What a sad state of affairs; my sons are starting to reach the age where we have to have some conversations about this...
