With all due respect, I HATED that version of The Music Man, my favorite musical of all time (I love 'em all, going to see Bye Bye Birdie in July and Oklahoma in Sept., can't wait!!).
The Robert Preston/Shirley Jones (+ Buddy Hackett, Hermione Gingold and more) version is FAR superior and should have never been remade.
