That is awful,just awful.

That is for a SPRING month. That’s about $150. higher than for the same month last year, and we can’t figure out why.
It’s not as though we have some sort of a leak ... ugh. We will be moving out of NY when we retire, either that or whole families are going to be reduced to living together so they can huddle for warmth.
This really affects the cost of low income rentals as well since most of those renters need the utilities included. Landlords have no choice but to respond. Property taxes and utilities costs are what will kill NY.
