Susan Rice: We didn’t negotiate with terrorists, Qatar did.

This weekend, White House national security adviser Susan Rice took a break from her busy schedule of scouring YouTube for blamable videos, and sat down with CNN’s Candy Crowley. You may remember Crowley as the “journalist” who likes helping floundering Democrat Presidents score points in political debates. Crowley wanted to know if, in fact, the United States had negotiated with terrorists in its effort to secure Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl’s release.

The short answer is “yes,” but this is the Obama administration. ...So you never get the short answer.

“Point blank,” Crowley asked. “Did the US negotiate with terrorists for his release?”

Rice replied:

“Candy, what we did was ensure that, as always, the United States doesn’t leave a man or woman on the battlefield. In order to do this, it’s very important for folks to understand, if we got into a situation where we said because of who has captured an American soldier on the battlefield, we will leave that person behind.

We would be in a whole new era for the safety of our personnel and for the nature of our commitment to our men and women in uniform. So, because it was the Taliban that had him did not mean that we had any less of an obligation to bring him back.”

Crowley reminded Rice that it was the Haqqani network that had Sgt. Bergdahl, and then pressed the question about negotiation.

“We actually negotiated with the government of Qatar, to whom we owe a great debt.”

See how that works? We only negotiated with Qatar. Qatar did “something” and we got our captive soldier back. We didn’t negotiate with terrorists at all! Our hands are clean!

If there are two people you can trust implicitly, it’s Candy Crowley and Susan Rice.

We knew she was a liar and unethical when she accepted a promotion after her boss set her up to lie to the world. She is merely a puppet for the hero of Benghazi.

Having someone else do your dirty work for you does not release you from responsibility.
Why did this administration adhere to the agreement if we played no part in it?

You think they are planning on leaving? I am convinced Obama will escalate his law breaking until it forces an impeachment action. Then he can start his race war and all bets are off. What I am not sure of is if there is anything he can do that would start impeachment.

One thing for sure, he is steadily escalating the pace of unilateral executive actions. This is disturbing to say the least and gives rise to the likelyhood that that a bigger plan is in the works. Can you say power grab?

IMO, Obama is confident that he is immune from impreachment and therefore has at least two more years to do as he pleases. And more if all goes according to plan.

Apparently it does if you’re an affirmative action president.

Susan Rice.

< s> Now that is someone we can trust. < /s>

Seriously - does Obama send these people out just to tweek us?

Knowing full well that no one in Congress is going to do anything about this and that the press will defend him forever, Obama sends out Rice to tell another bold-faced lie just to assert his power?

Replace the US and Qatar with ordinary citizens, the Taliban with a firearm dealer, and the prison with a gun, and everybody goes to jail.

This administration isn’t the least bit concerned about its credibility. The media has rendered it irrelevant. The practice is to say anything and rely on the talking heads to sell it on the evening news.

This is how these Marxists lie to get over on the zero infobots. For them, the ends justifies the means. If a Republican president had pulled this treasonous crap, they would have been either hounded out of office or impeached. President Reagan came very close to it with his arms for hostages, Irangate episode. Zer0 has spun his little swap for terrorist prisoners as a triumph that throws his VA scandal off the news cycle. What is actually emerging is a save face effort that has back fired. This thing is beginning to snowball into a monster. I hope it gets Zer0 another investigation leading to impeachment.
