He singled out these three....
WASHINGTON was NOT the President during the Rev War.
LINCOLN AND ROOSEVELT died before the wars were ending or winding down and COULDN’T have done what BO claims he was following in the footsteps of....
Imagine that early in WWII we had captured Adm. Yamamoto, Himmler, Mengele, Goebbels and Hess. Now picture FDR releasing them in exchange for some captured servicemen before the war was over.
Actually Lincoln decided to cease prisoner exchanges with the Confederacy in order to exacerbate the South’s manpower shortage. So Obama, once again, shows his ignorance of basic US history. But thanks for playing, Barry!
