Russia’s fraudulent news reports exposed
Ukraine News One ^ | 3 june 2014 | Ukraine News One

Getting caught spreading false news does not seem to discourage Russian media in the ferocious information war against Ukraine, with journalists from Ukraine’s 'Channel 24 News' publishing a list of 20 of the most heinous lies Russian media sources have spread.

Some of the boldest fictitious news, according to the Ukrainian channel, includes footage from Syria being passed off as an attack by pro-Russia separatists on a Ukrainian military helicopter on 15 April.

Some of the most striking and false footage put out by Russia features children. On the 10 May journalist Ermina Kotadzhjan, from Russia’s LifeNews channel, published a photograph of what she said was an 8-year-old boy who had been badly injured in a Donetsk shootout on her Twitter account. It was later picked up by another Russian news source. In reality the photograph was of a wounded child from Syria.

Why should the Russian main stream media be any different from the US main stream media?

Propaganda tools are propaganda tools regardless of the language.

“Anybody still care about this?”

Evidently, since the Putinistas insist on vehemently defending the lies.

Propaganda . . .
It's called propaganda.

“Propaganda . . .
It’s called propaganda.”

The most effective propaganda is information that is 100 percent truthful. The United States broadcast truthful news and entertainment by radio to NAZI Germany’s U-boat crews during the Second World War with very effective results as propaganda.

False propaganda is the opposite of truthful propaganda.

True enough. The word “propaganda” had a much more respectable meaning before WWII (see a Webster’s unabridged dictionary published prior to 1940) before Goebbels, Stalin, and the whole NY-DC Beltway got their grubby hands on the term.

Either you care about propaganda, or you do not. Doesn’t make much sense to excuse it by exclaiming, “but our media does it also.”

“Well of course the government lies, and the press lies. But in a democracy, they aren’t the same lies!”

They learned their lessons from our media.

No way.

The KGB infiltrated our news media with leftwing liars from the 50's thru the 90's.

What we have in this country now is the result of that. The US media learned from them.

Josef Goebbles learned the craft from Edward Bernays. Bernays was on Woodrow Wilson’s “Committee on Public Information”.

“Ukraine News One” Ever heard of them before? No. That’s because they were just invented by the Kiev Regime (and probably the CIA).

Pure propaganda machine.
