The libs are all giddy about htis because they think the TEA party candidates winning nominations will make it easier for their commie brethren to win the general. They believe their own BS that the TEA party is dead. Get lots of popcorn!
OK, but if Cochran goes down, does that put MS in play for the dems?
It must, because they are actually doing analysis for a change!

it’s true childers probably performs better against mcdaniel than cochran, but Miss. is so deep red i think mcdaniel wins at least 55% in the general unless he pulls a mourdock/akin
No not to that weasel Travis CHILDERS
It all sounds good to send the old horse packing, but is the new guy susceptible to Richard Mourdock Disease?
Everyone in my family that I’m aware of voted for George Wallace in 1968, as a protest to how LBJ was running things. I was 8 at the time.
I remember the same thing being said about Joe Donnelly in IN back in 2012. "No way Mourdock is going to lose," we heard.
What scares me is that nursing home crap. All they have to do is somehow loosely associate him like they did with Christie in NJ. Not that hard to do and if Cochran hadn't been senile, he'd have done it. Perception is all that matters with today's voters.
Someone needs to clue him in on how to handle the subject of rape. IOW, STFU about it beyond "it's an evil crime that should be punished to the fullest extent of the law."
can’t take anything for granted, but cochran’s done nothing in washington for 40 yrs other than vote for more pork. good riddance to this cretin
Yep.. that too. Don't think for a minute the darkside will pour massive amounts of $$$ in negative ads to put him on the defensive.
no doubt. no “legitimate rape” and “can’t get pregnant from rape” gibberish. stick to linking childers to obamacare and the stimulus
I hear you, but Job One should be kicking Harry Reid's ass out of the Majority Leader's post.
Mississippi Conservatives: Vote Chris McDaniel TODAY
The 'unknown' challenger in Mississippi is preferable ...
According to individuals who have reviewed the transaction, when Webber purchased the house, she had a co-signor on the home who was a donor to Cochran and who listed her own occupation as homemaker. So a congressional staffer making $72,000.00 and a homemaker who donated to Cochran went in together and bought a million-dollar home.
That homemakers husband, William Shows, was the head of the Pearl River Valley electric cooperative. Electric cooperatives have been the number one source of campaign contributions to Thad Cochran over the years. Sources tell me the homemakers husband also sat on the board of the bank that helped finance the transaction.
That would be Trustmark Bank, which is currently having FEC trouble over a campaign loan to benefit Cochran.
Likewise, Trustmarks CEO, Richard Hickson, contributed to Cochrans campaign in 2000, 2001, and 2007. In 2008, Trustmark got $215 million in TARP funding from the federal government.
Now, heres the real kicker. Ms. Webber and Mrs. Shows bought the house for $1 million with, it appears, $200,000.00 down and a $800,000.00 mortgage in 2001. At the time Ms. Webbers congressional salary was less than $100,000.00 a year and Mrs. Shows, who only had a 1% interest in the home according to individuals who have seen the paperwork, listed her occupation as a homemaker. A year after the purchase, Mrs. Shows gave Ms. Webber her interest in the home making Ms. Webber the sole owner.
will=won’t
Tonight will tell the tale. You'll be held to account for your prediction, of course.

I'm still not sure Mississippi has ever voted for a Republican in a statewide office. It's a blue state masquerading as a red state.
