Fabulous?

Somebody ought to pay, as in a lawsuit for criminal mishandling of wardrobe.

Life is good in Obamaland.

2.5 more years in DC, a gusher of cash from upcoming POTUS pardons, and a lifetime of luxury afterwards.

Fabulous Fashions?

I've never been a fan of those who pick on Michelle, but that's WAY over the top in the other direction. Michelle's attire appeals to me about as much as wearing a circus tent would; I don't in any way understand or appreciate her choices.

Clearly we have evolved since Thomas Jefferson occupied the White House. From the book “Thomas Jefferson: The Revolution of Ideas” by R.B. Bernstein pages 170-171 — “When in 1803 the new British Minister to the United States, Sir Anthony Merry, was presented to the President, he arrived at the Executive Mansion in full diplomatic regalia, complete with ceremonial sword, as was the custom in Europe. To his shock, Jefferson received him wearing casual clothing, including a dressing-gown and a pair of worn-out carpet slippers. Also Merry complained Jefferson had no respect for social rank. Instead of seating guests at state dinners according to rank, as defined by Old World standards of protocol, Jefferson decreed that everyone could sit where he or she wished.”

If only our Congress would exercise more scrutiny over the White House operating budget. Tightening the budget might encourage presidents to live more frugally, like the average American female taxpayer who will never see in person a designer dress, much less wear one.

Unfortunately, Congress stopped being concerned at all about federal spending under Speaker Hastert who managed to destroy the concept of the balanced budget during the first year of the George W. Bush administration. Since then, Presidents, with the collaboration of Congress, have been on a wild spending orgy.

They are donated or loaned by designers.

Doesn’t matter if their taste is all in their mouth and blinder than three mice.

I don’t have a problem with it either.

However, MO’s advisors are idiots for letting her wear atrocious crap.

Put me in charge of her wardrobe.

She’ll look like a million bucks when I’m through.

I have taught many women how to dress.

I don’t mess around with cheap stuff either.

I think the Christo and Jeanne-Claude “Gates” presentation, a la Central Park, would suit her perfectly... the Orange was exquisite and the drapery on her figure of the material could not be replicated..

They are probably donated. It's worth it for the designers to get their name out there.

That said, she has lousy taste in clothes and seems to have no conception of what looks good on her body type nor how good posture can make a world of difference.
