I have been reading the things that this/these wing nuts say and I think they are liberals trying to make conservatives look nutty. I lost a child when he was 18 and people told me they could not believe how calm and subdued I was. I was in shock and I don't know how I behaved.
In reality no one know how they will behave/appear in that situation until it happens to you.

Nah, these are narcissistic people who want to believe they have inside knowledge that no one else can get. It makes them feel important. It also fits into the pre-conceived beliefs. “Obama is bad therefore Sandy Hook didn’t happen”. It also fits into their argumentative contrarian nature.

You’ll notice that they believe things despite having no evidence that backs their belief. Their lack of evidence is their evidence. “I haven’t seen the bodies therefore they don’t exist”.
