Revealed: Hunt for Bowe Bergdahl left troops unprotected in infamous Afghan battle ...
Daily Mail ^

The Battle of Kamdesh, one of the most deadly military engagements during the U.S. war in Afghanistan, turned especially bloody – leaving eight Americans dead and 22 wounded – because troops and aircraft normally tasked to support U.S. fighting men and woman were diverted to search for Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. The Oct. 3, 2009 battle at Combat Outpost Keating, near the town of Kamdesh in Nuristan province, lasted more than 12 hours and earned two Army staff sergeants the Medal of Honor, the highest award for bravery the Pentagon can bestow on a warrior.

I can think of another reason the battle turned especially deadly.

And once again we hear about this in the British newspapers and nothing but silence from our own "protectors of democracy". Battle of Kamdesh, October 2009. 53 U.S. troops, no air, no reserves, attacked by 350 Taliban. Eight dead, two MOHs awarded. Because everybody else was out searching for a deserter.

Oh, the money line? It's here:

On that same day, President Barack Obama was announced as the winner of the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize.

Pity about the Getty images in it - I'd encourage anyone interested in the faces of the eight heroes killed to click on the link.

We have troops killed looking for him, troops killed because support was diverted to look for him, and troops killed because he gave aid to the Taliban. And I haven’t even considered the number of serious injuries.

The body count continues.

So then along with the six killed during the rescue attempt reported in several other threads we’ve read we now can add 8 more for a total of 14 American Soldiers killed due to Bergdahl’s treasonous escapade, along with 22 more wounded.

Wondering what the final tally will be after those five combatants Obama released complete their task?

My guess: about the same as would have resulted from a suicide bomber in an American mess hall at a major base.

Bingo. If the LA Slime, the Washington Compost, or The NY Times “Fired” Old Lady cannot run it, you know they have something to hide. Our current crop newspapers are to the US what Pravda was to the Soviet Union, nothing more than propaganda.

My first Commander reminded me of the story of THE MISSING NAIL

For want of a nail, the horseshoe was lost.
For want of the horseshoe, the horse was lost.
For want of the horse, the Soldier was lost.
For want of the Soldier, the squad was lost.
For want of the squad, the platoon was lost.
For want of the platoon, the company was lost.
For want of the company, the battalion was lost.
For want of the battalion, the brigade was lost.
For want of the brigade, the division was lost.
For want of the division, the corps was lost.
For want of the corps, the army was lost.
For want of the army, the nation was lost.
All for the want of a nail.

I’ve never forgotten that.

Confused about Obama’s foreign policy? With Clinton’s foreign policy?

You are likely familiar with the “Hierarchy of Needs” - Things a human MUST have in order survive: for a minute, for an hour, for a day, for a week, for a year, etc. Until those needs are met, he or she cannot look for less important things. Air, water, food, clothing, shelter, etc .. All can get ranked according to a human’s most important priorities.

Now consider every foreign policy decision, speech, foreign leader, foreign trip (well - except vacations), and foreign award or recognition Obama has chosen since 2008.

In every case, Obama and his pinions have chosen ......

Radical Islamic bands over Islamic fundamentalist states.

Islamic fundamentalist states over Islamic Sharia-compliant states;

Islamic Sharia states over Islamic religious states;

Islamic religious states over Islamic-tolerant states;

Islamic-tolerant states over Islamic dictatorships;

Islamic dictatorships over Islamic secular states;

Islamic secular states over Islamic republics;

Islamic republics over communist governments;

communist governments over socialist dictatorships;

socialist-dictatorships over socialist-selected governments;

socialist-selected governments over socialist-elected governments;

3rd world socialist-republics over European-white-socialist governments;

European-socialist governments over European-republics;

European-republics over America or English interests;

The democrat-donor or government-enhanced interest over any republican/capitalist/energy/white/male/oil/red interest;

And in every case, when given a public choice, Obama has chosen anybody else over Israeli;

Would one of those reasons be that bergdahl was helping the other side, giving them inside Intel on our troops movements and capabilities?

But the UK papers have gotten the story from SOMEbody.

If the UK media run the story first, then the conservative ( and alternate) media here can run with it.

IRS can go pound sand.
