When people choose to drop out of high school and/or skip college they are apt to have a different outcome in life than someone who got a diploma and pushed on with purposeful education and employment. Moreover, if they have children out of wedlock, life is apt to take one course. If they have them within a marriage life is apt to take another course. Most often in life our destination is determined by the decisions we make and the courses we take. Those of us who make the right decisions should not have to subsidize those who make the wrong decisions. And that is what this liberal lunacy seeks to do.
When I was in college I was making student wages of $4.75 per hour at a job where employees doing the same job were making about $20.00/hr.
Amazingly, they were working for me - not the other way around, but this was after a couple of years experience. It was a great way to start a career.
When I was hired, I was not worth the money they were paying me and there is no way I would have been able to get my foot in the door if I had been paid high wages.
